My understanding is that you require an unrestricted Class 6 - more information can be found here http://www.icbc.com/driver-licensing/getting-licensed/motorcycle-licence/steps-motorcycle

What class of drivers license do I need to drive my new Harley three wheeler, any time day or night and with a passanger in British Columbia. I am not a learner I have held a valid Class 5 drivers license for 40 years. I did get my learners license for a motorcycle last fall. Now there seems to be uncertainty as to what class of license I will require to drive my new Harley Trike, as I said, day or night and with a passenger? Thanks

Couldn't agree with you more. I took the course with a lot of riders who had tons of experience and even they had their eyes opened. The nice thing about the course is that it seems to offer something for every level of rider.

I took the Vancouver Island Safety Council course last summer - actually took the basic and the traffic course. This is one of the best investments you can make as a rider. Makes you very aware of road hazards you never even thought of before and how to cope with them. Although I was a rider before I took the course, I fell 100% better about my skills now.
