I have spoken with the tech at Urban Wasp in Vancouver who did an inspection and test ride on their first SYM SYMBA. He said it was absolutely terrific. If you are in Vancouver or the the Lower Mainland – I can tell you that they now have their first one in stock. The Scooter Underground Scooter Shop in Victoria will probably have their first SYM Symba in late March 2010.

As Mike has said above, the SYM Symba has begun shipping to dealers in limited supply. Contact http://www.scooterunderground.ca and the guys can give you a date they will arrive on Vancouver Island.
Urban Wasp in Vancouver http://www.urbanwasp.com/ could tell you when they expect to see them in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland

Yay!!!

Glad to hear that this great scooter is coming to Canada,
Ahead of the new Honda Cub too, Honda dropped the ball again.

Fortunately for us, We’ll be hopefully enjoying a nice nimble scooter in Canada soon,
I miss my old 1982 Honda C70 Passport, But the SYMBA will make an excellent second scooter.

I currently have both a 1982 C70 and a 2008 KYMCO Vitality. I love them both for different reasons and will switch back from one to the other on a regular basis depending on where I am going or what I am doing.

I would like to test drive the new Symba once it is here.
